TERMS & CONDITIONS

In these Terms and Conditions “we/our/us” means The Chilli Pot and “the client” means the person or company placing an order.
  1. Orders must be confirmed with us 48 hours prior to the desired delivery time, at the latest.
  2. For urgent requests within 48 hours, please call us to discuss and we will try and accommodate with a suitable menu. Last minute requests and amendments will be dealt with as effectively as possible. We will try and accommodate requests as much as we can, although it may not always be possible due to the nature and constraints of our business. 
  3. Orders are considered confirmed only once we have sent an order confirmation email to the client. It is the client’s responsibility to check the order confirmation email and query any issues well in advance of delivery. 
  4. An invoice will be raised and sent to the client prior to delivery of the order. All invoices to be paid upon receipt of the invoice. 
  5. We reserve the right to charge interest on monies that are overdue. 
  6. You must give 24 hours notice for cancellations. Failure to provide notice 24 hours prior to the agreed delivery time will result in the full price of the order being charged. 
  7. We ask that all non-food items, insulated bags, platters, baskets and other equipment is kept ready for collection. We will arrange to collect our equipment from you later in the day of delivery or the following day. This can be agreed with the client when the order is delivered. 
  8. We will have to charge for items thrown away, damaged or not ready for collection. 
  9. On occasions we may have to replace out of stock items with other similar items. We apologise for this and will do our best to avoid this from occurring and will notify you when this is the case. 
  10. Due to the presence of wheat and nuts in our kitchen we cannot guarantee the absence of contamination in any of our dishes. 
  11. We accept no responsibility for any spillages, staining or damage caused by spilt food or drinks supplied by us. 
  12. We cannot be responsible for the actions of any third parties we work with. We do however strive to ensure we only work with companies and individuals with high ethical values and standards. 
  13. Food Standards Agency states that all hot food needs to be consumed within two hours of leaving the oven. Cold food is to be consumed within four hours if not refrigerated once delivered to the site. We will not be liable for food consumed after these specified times. 
  14. No liability is accepted for loss, damage or consequential loss, except to the extent required by law caused by us failing to perform our obligations (whether that failure is due to negligence on our part, our officers, employees or due to other causes), but nothing herein shall exclude our obligation to pay compensation for death or personal injury as required by law. 
  15. Any complaints regarding our food or service should be raised with us immediately and will be taken seriously. You should expect a response from us within 24 hours stating our actions.
  16.  Please provide the recipient name, date, location and items involved with any complaint. 
  17. Please retain food or drink related to the complaint in a refrigerated environment for us to collect.
  18. Our offers are subject to availability and stated time scales. 
  19. All images and copy on our website belongs to us. We do not give permission to any third party to use these.
